Came across this on my google+...
A sister asked the columnist "Ask Amy" for advice...
and got a befitting reply.
This reminded me of a little story that I read somewhere.
For details refer to the picture.
An old lady, made it a habit to comment, to her husband, about her young neighbour's lack of laundry skills. The drying laundry could be seen from her living room window. The old man would listen patiently and with a "hmm.." go back to his newspaper.
One day the old lady, exclaimed, "At last, she has learnt to wash her laundry, see it is spotless today. The husband glanced towards the window, shortly, before he responded, "Dear, I was up early today, so I washed our windows".
Often, people tend to speak of others unkindly and thoughtlessly, not once considering their feelings.
But life has a way of reciprocating appropriately.
